This project is aligned with the strategic program whose purpose is to reduce the legitimization and exacerbation of gender violence. It is also part of the priorities of the National Plan against Gender Violence 2016-2021 (PNCVG) and the National Gender Equality Policy , and focuses on the articulated implementation of a National Strategy for the Prevention of Gender Violence. The project has two differentiated areas of intervention: the first aimed at strengthening the capacities of articulated implementation of state actors and the second focused on participation and mobilization of non-state actors involved.
The intended beneficiaries are:
1. State: Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations, the Ombudsman’s Office and the Public Ministry.
2. Non-state: Civil Society – Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean for the defense of women’s rights (CLADEM); Academy – Catholic University of Peru (PUCP); private sector – Chamber of Commerce of Lima; media – Calandria Association of Social Communicators.
