Objective: The project aims at improving the current system for legal approximation process and the level of harmonisation of the national legislation with the EU acquis, thus contributing to a fundamental element of the EU integration process.
The project will provide assistance on all stages of the legislative process, from policy development to law adoption. To that regard, all line institutions at Government central level and the Parliament will be involved through specific assistance.
The project Overall Objective is to improve policy and legislation processes at the central level in view of accelerating Serbia’s preparation for EU accession.
The Purpose of the project is (i) to improve the current system of legal harmonisation and approximation with EU legislation; (ii) to support the development of national legislation aligned with the acquis; and (iii) to ensure proper implementation of the legislation, including the necessary by-laws and enforcement mechanisms.
