Objective: The overall objective of the project is:
To increase awareness of the EU, of the EU’s Foreign Policy objectives, and of the EU’s engagement with the ASEAN region and countries, by strengthening the EU’s ability to engage and partner with selected stakeholders and audiences in Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The purposes of this contract are:
a) To promote better knowledge of the EU among key decision and opinion makers, the media, and the general public, on the role of the EU as a major player in the global political, social, economic, and environmental system.
b) To build trust, mutual understanding, and engagement between the EU and Malaysian, Filipino, Singaporean, Thai, and Vietnamese stakeholders, contributing to a more positive context for dialogues, stronger bilateral and regional relations, and active partnerships on key issues of EU and/or mutual interests.
c) To promote a united image and increase the recognition and visibility of the EU, including its Member States, with target audiences in Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
