The main objective of the project is to enhance the effectiveness and impact of EU support to civil society in Mozambique. This is achieved through the assessment of progress and stocktaking of the 11th EDF Support Programme to Non-State Actors in Mozambique: participation for inclusive growth – PAANE II and through the identification and formulation of the support programme to civil society under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDCI). Particular emphasis is placed on the following cross-cutting issues: environment and climate change, rights-based approach, rights of persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, and gender equality.
