Laura Buzeteanu

Laura Teodora BuzeÅ£eanu (Câmpina, Romania) holds a Bachelor’s degree in French Philology and Hispanic Philology, and a Master’s degree in French Philology, from the University of Bucharest, Romania, and the Complutense University of Madrid. She has studied Law, and holds a Postgraduate degree in Geology, from the University of Graz, Austria, and several courses at Sciences Po Paris University. She currently specializes in organic farming, circular economy, and permaculture. Laura has 30 years of work experience in Africa, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and Latin America, in General Management of international subsidiaries and business development for engineering, mining and geology, and petroleum companies; international tenders financed by multilateral development organizations (European Commission, World Bank, African Development Bank, European Development Bank), management of technical assistance and supervision engineering projects and EPC contracts. She carried out volunteer actions in Chad, South Sudan, and the DR of Congo. Extensive experience as a sworn translator/interpreter. 


Laura’s working languages are Romanian, French, Spanish, and English, with an intermediate level of Italian, Mandarin Chinese (A2-HSK), and knowledge of Russian, German, Portuguese, Basque, Greek, Albanian, Turkish, Georgian, Arabic, Farsi, Mongolian, Navajo, Ngambaye, Moundang, Lingala and Bambara.
