Global Gateway: An Innovative Approach to Promoting Human Rights, Equality and Inclusion in European Union Development Cooperation training was held in Bissau from 15 to 17 September 2025. The activity aimed to strengthen the capacities of European Union Delegation staff and key partners, mainly other cooperation agencies and civil society organisations, to apply a gender and rights based approach, including the rights of persons with disabilities, in the design of EU development cooperation, in line with the priorities of EU Guinea Bissau cooperation. The training also introduced participants to the Global Gateway and the 360 degree approach.
