Objective: The overall objective of the project is to improve the capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of the Judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina in prosecuting and adjudicating court cases.
The purpose of this project is as follows:
• to enhance the capacity for the training of judges and prosecutors in terms of quality of training delivered, relevance and correspondence with the actual priorities of the judiciary with particular emphasis on targeted areas such as war crimes, organised crime and corruption, and effective use of the resources available;
• to initiate organisational, legal and financial reform of non-judicial staff in the judiciary, aiming at improving their role and status.
